Special School No 6 is the biggest Special School in Bucharest and the second largest in Romania. It supports 200 children with mental retardation (including severe physical and mental retardation)

12% different types of paralysis (para-paralysis, tetra- paralysis, spastic paralysis),
6% Down syndrome,
39% associated disabilities
other 25% with different severe disabilities
   
Activities:
 
Teaching based on existing Romanian special education curricula
Practical activities that are completed with the regular curricula and build basic life skills: cooking, handicraft skills.
   
Master’s Peace Foundation Provides:
 
School equipment (ie table tennis table/soccer balls etc) on an as needed basis
Funding for further educational support for the Directors of the School
