The Kripalaya work and learn center was established in 2001 as a base to provide skills for the
orphan children (from Bihar) so that they can have a chance to settle in life successfully and the
means to earn a proper income.
This facility is located in Hyderabad city (in Southern India) due to the fact that there is access to
the necessary training courses (these are expected to run for a 2 year duration). Currently there
are 23 girls and 10 boys in Hyderabad taking this training. Future plans include, radio/TV repairs,
electrical wiring, meter reading.
Currently the training is provided in the following areas:
Tailoring
Embroidery
Painting
Craft Making
Lace Making
Cookery
Secretarial practice
Mechanical Repair
In addition to the vocational training each of the children are undertaking high school studies.
Master’s Peace Foundation Provides:
Monthly support for the 23 girls & 10 boys including food, education, clothing and living quarters
Provision of materials/machines & medical assistance on an as needed basis
